Meringue cookies are super light, crunchy and delicious. Today, we are sharing a reccipe for this delicious meringue goodness!
Ingredients:
2 egg whites
1/3 cup of granulated sugar
1/4 cup of nuts of your choice (optional)
sprinkles (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 100'C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Put the egg whites in a clean bowl and with a stand mixer or a hand mixer, whip up the egg whites until light and fluffy. Then start gradually adding the sigar little by little. Whip up your egg whites until stiff peaks, or once the meringue doesn't fall.
3. Add the finely chopped nut bits. (make sure they are finely chopped so they don't get struck when you are piping the meringue.) When mixing, make sure to gently fold in the egg whites.
4. Fill a piping bag with the meringue and pipe little dollops of meringue onto the baking tray. and put some sprinkles if you want.
5. Bake for 40 minutes and let them sit in the oven for 30 minutes.
